With the beginning of the month of June, Children's Day arrives. Celebrated since 1950 on the first day of the sixth month of the year, this celebration is an initiative of the United Nations Organization (UNO) which aims to draw attention to the rights of children. However, just out of curiosity, did you know that the World Children's Day is on November 20th? It was on this day that, in 1959, the UN general assembly approved the rights of children. However, each country has its own day to celebrate the little ones and in Portugal that day is June 1st.
Although we are no longer considered children after the age of 12, it is up to each one of us to decide when this day should be celebrated. Maybe it should never stop being celebrated, because in a certain way we are always a child at heart. So, take advantage of this day to pamper yourself and the children around you. To help you with this second task, we've put together a set of gift suggestions for the little ones.
