In the clouds and in style. It's On Running

In the clouds and in style. It's On Running

We've told you about lots of comfortable sneakers. If we're honest, that should be one of the most essential features in a good pair of sneakers. After all, the goal is to spend the whole day with them on your feet. However, today we want to tell you about a brand that is proud to say that when you wear their sneakers, you are walking on cloud nine. We are talking about On Running.

Created in Switzerland, On Running is a relatively recent brand, but from early on it was awarded for its quality and innovation. One of the company's turning points came with the invention of CloudTec technology. With a sole formed by tiny cushions that react to the movement of the foot, the Cloud range quickly became an On Running bestseller.

On Running Cloudnova

Within the Cloud family, you'll find three different models in the BZR-Street Style Culture: the Cloudnova, the Cloudflow Wide and the Cloud X. The basis between them is the same. What changes is their design and some technicalities, such as the foam included in the sole. The Cloudnova have an internal sock, making the sneaker mould itself better to the foot. The Cloud X have a seamless design, which allows for greater durability, breathability and agility. Finally, the Cloudflow Wide are focused on functionality and have 70% recycled materials. The sneakers are so technical and advanced that some of the models are even suitable for running.

It's true that the first models we present you have a more sporty look. This makes them ideal for looks that are more into the athleisure aesthetic. However, The Roger Advantage model is much more classic. Created together with tennis player Roger Federer, these sneakers also include CloudTec technology. It is a simple, minimalist, lightweight model and uses very soft vegan leather. This was the third product developed by the Swiss athlete, after he joined the brand in 2019.

On Running The Roger Advantage

According to the Swiss company, The Roger Advantage are designed for the long days and the nights that never end. Without forgetting the influence of tennis, these sneakers look out for the well-being of the wearer and the environment. As well as vegan leather, the model uses 100% recycled polyester.

Running On Clouds

"Running On Clouds" is the motto of On Running. And it was precisely because someone wanted to run on clouds that the brand was born. It all started with a Swiss engineer running near a beach on a holiday in Florida, USA. The runner realised that his legs felt less tired when he ran near the sand and that it would be interesting to always have that feeling. At the same time, Olivier Bernhard, three-time world duathlon champion and winner of several editions of the Ironman triathlon race, was determined to dedicate himself to finding the perfect running shoe. An idea and an ambition that came together as soon as the two met.

On Running Roger Federer

The rest is history. They began to develop projects and in 2010 created On Running, together with Caspar Coppetti and David Allemann. Their goal was to change the world of running, but they started including themselves in street style. At the same time that the models were winning important awards within the footwear industry, they were also appearing on magazine covers, such as Variety, and on red carpets.

It was then with the entrance of Roger Federer in November 2019 that the brand began to focus on more commercial and classic designs. Currently, On Running is making a big bet on the lifestyle collection, showing that performance and fashion can go hand in hand. If a brand can have more than one facet and be good at more than one aspect, can't we too? Bet on yourself and on On Running, and explore until you can't walk any more.
