Your choice, your Eaastpak

The summer days are getting shorter and that means it's almost time to go back to school. Surely you're full of news and stories to tell your friends and they're full of stories to tell you. But you can't go back to school without having everything you need to go back at your best. That's where BZR-Street Style Culture comes in. You already know that we have everything you need in terms of footwear, clothing and accessories. You've got the best brands waiting for you.

Herschel, Doughnut, Fjallraven and Eastpak are the top brands in backpacks and pencil cases to go back to school this year. Various styles, various sizes and various patterns. You will find the right backpack according to your personality or moods, even because we all know that Mondays are harder and Fridays are more desirable.

Over the next few weeks we're going to tell you about some brands to help you when it comes to choosing your backpack. Today we're starting with Eastpak, which this year is full of options made in collaboration with other brands, such as Peanuts and Rubik.

Peanuts was born in 1950 by the hand of Charles M. Schulz. The comic strip told the story of Charlie Brown and his friends, not forgetting his bird Woodstock and his beagle dog Snoopy. The adventures of the group have enchanted children and adults alike, and what began as a newspaper strip in the United States of America, today includes films, series, books, theme parks and many collaborations with clothing and accessory companies, such as Element and Eastpak.

In the capsule collection of backpacks, pencil cases and bags for back-to-school, Eastpak brings the joy of Peanuts back to life with dynamic and colourful prints. The classic models of the American brand have been updated and now form a lively and fun collection, with the logos of the two brands. There is no mistaking these backpacks. In addition, the inner lining is embossed with the name of the Schulz comic strip.

Did you know that Eastpak started producing canvas backpacks in 1952 for the American army? Since then, it has become very famous in the market and the PaddedPak'R backpack, the one that comes with the Peanuts gang, was one of its biggest successes. So, this collaboration has come, basically, to show the best of what was done in the 50s.You'll find this collection in four different patterns. You can choose between a flying Woodstock, a clumsy Snoopy, a giant black and white Snoopy or all the friends playing baseball. The choice is yours.

If the collection with Peanuts was fun, then the Rubik's is no exception. You must know what the Rubik's cube is, especially since it is one of the most popular toys/puzzles in the world. Created by Hungarian Ernő Rubik in 1974, the cube was originally named the magic cube and consists of a three-dimensional puzzle where you have to join all the squares of the same colour on the same face. In total, the cube has 6 colours, one for each side.

It was in 1980 that the name was changed to Rubik's Cube, when the company Ideal Toys licensed the toy so that it could be manufactured worldwide. It was in the same decade that the cube became a global icon, and it remains so today. To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the puzzle, Rubik has invaded Eastpak's accessories, with very colourful patterns and laces on the zip. You'll be able to find the famous cubes in the Padded Pak'R backpack, Springer fanny pack and Tranverz S travel bag, both in mini and multi sizes and in a repeating, exuberant pattern. As with Peanuts, you'll also get both brands' logos on the product you choose, so you can proudly display your Eastpak x Rubik.

These are just some examples of what you can find in our back to school collection this year. Start the new school year off on the right foot and be ready to create some memorable memories in your yearbook. You know, it's your choice. Today. Tomorrow. Every day.
