All Stars wear All Star

All Stars wear All Star

One of Converse’s most iconic models, the All Star is more than just sneakers. They are a form of expression! They have been used in times of rebellion, change, progress and creativity.

They started, like many sneakers, in the world of sport. This time in basketball. From there, they jumped to the skate parks and to the streets. The Chuck Taylor model, the most classic, has passed through the feet of countless stars in the world of music, sport and cinema.

In the music industry, names like Elvis Presley, Bruce Springsteen, George Harrison, Eddie Van Helen, Ian Curtis, Madonna, Avril Lavigne and Hayley Williams are just some that can be mentioned. Around the 90's, with the beginning of the Grunge movement, Kurt Cobain emerged as the driving force behind the use of the All Star, which were perfect to match the characteristic careless look of this movement. The members of the Ramones and Sex Pistols were constantly seen with All Star sneakers on their feet. More recently, The Strokes added the model to their look.

As for the world of cameras, the All Star were seen at the feet of Princess Diana, James Dean and Johnny Knoxville. On the big screen, we challenge you to discover the famous model in the films Rocky, Grease, Footloose, Back to the Future, Sin City, 2 Fast to Furious, I Robot, Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix, Juno and Twilight.

Always a classic

Everyone has their own way of using them. With crossed or straight laces. With the knot exposed or hidden. Smooth or with patterns. In canvas or leather. As they came from the store or with some adaptations. New or used, because as they say, the more used the better. There is an All Star for each style.

Like international stars, our influencers also like to show off their favorite All Star.
